Learn From People Who Actually Do This Work

Our instructors split their time between teaching and consulting on financial assessments for small and mid-sized businesses across Southeast Asia. Somchai worked in corporate finance for fifteen years before switching to education, and Patricia spent a decade in credit analysis at regional banks.

They bring different perspectives but share one thing: they've seen plenty of balance sheets that looked fine until you dug into the details. The courses reflect that experience, focusing on practical interpretation rather than memorizing formulas.

  • Experience with Thai and international accounting standards
  • Background in both theory and real-world financial assessment
  • Comfortable discussing industry-specific considerations
  • Patient with questions and open to discussing tricky scenarios

How These Programs Actually Work

1

Live Online Sessions

Weekly video meetings where we walk through concepts together. You can ask questions during class, and we record everything in case you need to review later or miss a week.

2

Practice Assignments

Between sessions, you'll work with real financial statements and calculate ratios yourself. Nothing complicated, just building familiarity with the process. We review these together in the following class.

3

Group Discussion

Small group breakouts where you compare findings and talk through what you're seeing in the numbers. This part often generates the most useful insights because everyone notices different things.

Registration Opens July 2025

We're finalizing schedules now and will start accepting registrations in early July. Class sizes stay small so everyone gets time to work through questions, which means spots fill up fairly quickly once we open enrollment.

1

Submit Interest Form

Let us know which course interests you and we'll send details about start dates, exact times, and pricing when registration opens. No commitment at this stage, just getting on the list.

2

Review Course Materials

Once you register, you'll receive access to preliminary readings and a sample financial statement to look over before the first class. This helps everyone start at roughly the same place.

3

Attend First Session

The opening class covers what we'll do each week, how assignments work, and gives everyone a chance to introduce themselves and mention what they hope to learn. We also do a quick ratio calculation together so you see how it flows.

4

Work Through the Program

Each week builds on the previous one, adding new ratios and concepts while reviewing earlier material. By the end, you'll have worked through multiple complete financial analyses and developed a decent sense for spotting issues in statements.
